Lepat pisang is also known as steamed kuih in the banana leaves. It is very famous in the kampung-kampung in Malaysia. It is a sweet dessert and it is very simple to make.

Ingredients- 450g ripen bananas
- 4 tbsp sugar/brown sugar
- 4 tbsp grated coconut
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 120g flour
- 10g tapioca flour
- 10g rice flour
- Some banana leaves (cut into 17cmX11cm)
- Peel and mash the bananas coarsely.
- Steam the grated coconut with salt until softened.
- Add the sugar, grated coconut, flour to the bananas mixture.
- Wrap the mixture by 2-3 tbsp wrap and secure with toothpick or staple on the sides.
- Steam the kuih, medium heat for 10-15 mins.
