- 350g sago
- 60g grated coconut
- 150g sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 150g coconut milk
Colouring
- 2 tbsp pandan juice
- green, red, yellow colouring
Topping
- 150g grated coconut
- 1/4 tsp salt
- a pandan knot
Method
- Soak the sago with water until soft for about 30 mins.
- Mix the mixture together and divide into 3 portion.
- Steam the green layer with greased pan I used 6 inch square pan for about 15-20 mins.
- Then, color another portion with yellow then steam for 15-20 mins.
- Color another portion with red steam for 15-20 mins or till transparent.
- Steam grated coconut for 5-10 mins.
- Cool the kuih before cut and coat kuih with grated coconut.
