Ingredients
- 200g yellow sweet potatoes
- a pinch of salt
- 100g plain flour
- water
Sira Gula
- 60g sugar
- 30g water
Method
- Peel the potatoes and and soak it in salt water.
- Steam the potatoes till soft.
- While hot mash the potatoes. Let it cool.
- Then, add in the flour little by little till a soft dough but not sticky.
- Add water if the dough is dry.
- Shape the dough about 40-50 g each into a doughnut shape.
- Fry the dough with medium high heat till golden brown and float. Set aside.
- For sira gula combine sugar and water cook with low heat till thick and a lot of bubble switch off the fire then add in the doughnut coat each of the doughnut till the sugar crystallized.
- Serve.
